Belarus Bans Sale of Popular LED Light Bulbs
The register of dangerous products prohibited for import and sale in Belarus has been expanded to include popular LED bulbs.
This decision was made by the State Committee for Standardization.
The department's press service reported this on Telegram.
Which light bulbs are prohibited for sale
The ban applies to light bulbs of the brands "IN HOME" (LED-A65-VC 25W 230V E27 4000K) and "WOLTA" (article 25S67BL25E27). Both brands belong to Chinese companies.
The State Standard established that the bulbs do not comply with the requirements of the TR CU for the electromagnetic interference they create.
The average and quasi-peak values of the voltage of radio interference generated at the network terminals exceed the permissible standards.
The regulations banning the import and circulation of the specified products come into force on September 26.
