On the eve of the big weekend, which starts in Belarus on November 7, about 2,000 vehicles are waiting at the border to enter neighboring Poland.

The press service of the State Border Committee of the Republic reported this on its official telegram channel.

According to her data, since Monday, November 4, the number of cars in front of the Polish checkpoint "Terespol" (on the Belarusian side "Brest") has increased almost 2-fold.

Thus, as of ten o'clock in the morning on November 6, 1,335 cars had accumulated there.

Please note: the adjacent side still accepts no more than 40% of the standard amount of vehicles into its territory.

At the same border crossing, 40 buses are standing in line, the State Border Service noted.

For trucks, the Polish direction on the way to the EU is also the busiest – at the checkpoint “Kukuryki” (“Kozlovichi”) there will be a queue of 600 trucks.

According to the Border Committee, since Monday, Polish services have allowed only 52% of the normal amount of transport through.

But the least number of vehicles were processed by employees of the Lithuanian checkpoint “Medininkai” (“Kamenny Log”) – 16% of the norm.

Since the beginning of the week, 36% of trucks have entered Lithuania through another checkpoint, Šalčininkai (Beņakoni).

There are 300 trucks waiting in line at the Latvian checkpoint "Paternieki" ("Grigorovshchina").

The employees of this checkpoint processed 45% of the vehicles, the Belarusian agency reported.
