Perhaps, as early as February next year, the foot of a Belarusian tourist will be able to set foot on the beaches of the Arabian Sea.

It is planned to launch direct flights from Belarus to Oman.

Belta writes about this with reference to the head of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maxim Ryzhenkov.

According to him, this possibility is provided for by the agreements reached during Alexander Lukashenko’s working visit to the sultanate.

The diplomat noted that, according to the documents, Belarusians wishing to visit Oman can stay in the country without a visa for up to 14 days.

At the airport, they will simply put a stamp for free, Ryzhenkov explained.

He added that Minsk and Muscat also have plans to launch a direct flight from Belarus to Oman.

There are practically only technical issues left; all approvals have already been completed, the minister clarified.

The head of the Foreign Ministry also announced that the opening of such an air route could possibly take place in February 2025.
