It has recently become clear that the absolute majority of Belarusians participate in elections.
This is evidenced by data obtained during a sociological study conducted by the analytical center EcooM.
The survey participants were asked to answer the question: "In Belarus, there will be voting in the presidential elections in 2025. Do you personally usually take part in elections?"
It turned out that 65.1% of respondents “always take part” in such events.
Another 15.7% of them said that they “try to go to the polls.” The answer “sometimes yes, sometimes no” was given by 7.1% of citizens.
6.2% of respondents do not go to the polls on principle, and 5.9% found it difficult to answer.
This corresponds to reality. We have noted a high turnout in elections in recent decades, - commented the results of the study to the Belta agency EcooM director Sergey Musienko.
According to him, many Belarusians consider it their duty to take part in the elections.
And you can see from the polling stations how many citizens come,” he added.
These are real figures. We observe this from year to year. Such activity is our reality, - the director noted.
