From January 1 of next year, the base rate for remuneration of public sector employees will increase in Belarus.
The corresponding resolution was signed by the head of government Roman Golovchenko.
The Council of Ministers press service reported this on Telegram.
According to the resolution, from January 1 of next year the base rate will increase to 270 rubles.
Currently, the base rate is 253 rubles. Thus, the increase will be 17 rubles. The previous increase in the base rate was on September 1.
The base rate is the main element of the tariff system on the basis of which public sector employees are paid.
The size of salaries in subsidized organizations, whose employees are equal in terms of pay to public sector employees, also depends on this element.
