Today, the head of state signed a decree extending the family capital program for 2025-29.
The decree provides for the preservation of approaches to the conditions for the appointment and directions of early use of family capital.
Thus, family capital is assigned to citizens permanently residing in the country upon the birth/adoption of a third or subsequent child.
Family capital can be used early to improve housing conditions, medical services, education, and purchase goods for the disabled.
The possibilities for early use of family capital in the current areas have been expanded.
As Koval explained, from January 1, family capital can be used for housing construction without a referral from the local executive committee or for repaying a loan for housing construction without a referral from the executive committee.
The representative of the Ministry of Labor noted that the introduction of this norm is a direct order from the head of state.
Another innovation concerns loan repayment. Family capital can be used early to repay a loan received through refinancing to repay a previously received loan for construction, reconstruction or purchase of housing.
Family capital is assigned in Belarusian rubles with annual indexation. The amount of family capital for the next year will be published on the website of the Ministry of Labor no later than January 31.
