The Ministry of Health explained how to diagnose a stroke.

How to recognize a stroke

The Ministry of Health recalled that the word “stroke” is translated from Latin as “blow”.

This word can save the life of you and your loved ones, because each of its letters is the first sign, the department said.

"U" - smile. When a person has a stroke, they cannot smile evenly because their face is distorted.

"D" - movement. When a person has a stroke, he or she cannot raise their arm.

"A" - aphasia. When a person has a stroke, they cannot pronounce their first and last name.

"R" is for solution. If you notice at least one of these signs, call an ambulance immediately.
