On October 16, Tatyana Kim, the founder of the Wildberries online store, celebrated her birthday.
The entrepreneur admitted that she was sure that the flow of gifts had ended last week.
However, on Tuesday, October 22, Kim, by her own account, received another gift.
The CEO of the Russian marketplace wrote about this in her Telegram channel.
We are talking about purple potatoes bred in the republic.
Kim wrote that the unusual variety of vegetable was bred and registered by the Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Potato and Fruit Growing.
Judging by the content of the post and the document, a photo of which was published on the channel, the variety received the preliminary name "Wildberries".
Kim noted that it is possible that attempts will be made to grow potatoes on an industrial scale.
The founder of Wildberries thanked Belarus for the unusual gift.
