Students in Belarus are entitled to benefits regarding travel and housing.

We will tell you what conditions must be met to receive such benefits.

What benefits are available to students?

As reported by 1prof.by , students who were not accommodated in a dormitory will be compensated for their rental costs.

Certain conditions must be met for this to happen. The student must study for free in the daytime department and be from another city, and the average income of his family per person must not exceed 200% of the highest value of the BPM for the last two quarters.

To receive compensation, you must submit an application and information about the income of each family member for the year to the housing rental reimbursement commission.

Some students are completely exempt from paying for dormitory accommodation.

This benefit is provided to orphans, children left without parental care, minor disabled children, disabled persons of the first and second groups regardless of age, persons with tuberculosis or cancer, and students whose parents died or became disabled while performing their official duties.

As for travel benefits, for full-time out-of-town students, provided that the average family income per person is below the highest BPM, partial compensation for travel to the family's place of residence and back is provided. The benefit is provided during the academic year.
