Belarus and Russia are discussing the construction of a high-speed highway Moscow – Brest.
This was announced on October 21 by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, while hearing a report on the development of the national road network.
The head of state's statement is quoted by his press service .
As the head of state reported, he and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to discuss in the near future the construction of a high-speed highway from Moscow through Belarus to the West.
The President noted that under certain conditions the highway could extend to Berlin.
If Westerners want to participate in this, we will work until Berlin, Lukashenko said.
The head of state added that the construction of the highway to Brest is a predetermined issue.
