Sergei Kholodovich from the village of Somino in the Ivatsevichi district has been recognized as the father with the largest number of children in Belarus.
The man is not yet 45 years old. By this age, he has acquired 15 heirs, as reported by BELTA .
Sergei and his wife Anna had their first child back in 2003. They named him after his father – Sergei.
Afterwards, the family was expanded by five more boys and nine girls.
What is noteworthy is that both spouses come from large families.
Sergei's parents had five heirs, and Anna's parents had twice as many, ten. Kholodovich's sisters and brothers also had many children, with at least three children growing up in their families.
Sergei Nikolaevich considers his father to be an example for himself.
"He didn't smoke, wasn't addicted to alcohol. He taught me a lot, and in difficult moments he always suggested what was best to do," the father of many children shared his memories, adding that he often turned to his parent for advice.
The man tries to be the same example for his children, teaching them to be well-mannered, to work, to respect their elders and to help others.
