This year will go down in history as one of the most active periods in the housing market in Belarus.

Analytics on apartment transactions in Belarus for three quarters of 2024

In Minsk, 4,606 transactions were completed, which is comparable to the 2023 level, 5% more than the first quarter and 10% less than the second.

Most often, apartments in the capital were purchased for the equivalent of 50-70 thousand dollars (38% of the total number of transactions).

If we talk about the structure of apartments sold in the capital, one-room apartments were most often purchased (49%).

In second place are two-room apartments (30%), followed by three-room apartments (17%) and apartments with four or more rooms (4%).

Five-room apartments in the capital were sold 8, six-room apartments – 2. The most expensive was a four-room apartment with an area of 124.7 sq. m., sold for 456,000 dollars in equivalent.

In terms of price per square meter, the most expensive transaction was for a three-room apartment with an area of 83.3 square meters, with a price of $3,880 per square meter.

The number of transactions also increased in Vitebsk (by 11%) and Brest (by 6%). In Gomel, Mogilev and Grodno it remained practically unchanged.

Average transaction prices increased in all regional centers except Vitebsk.

Thus, in Brest the price increased by 60 dollars per square meter, in Gomel – by 40 dollars, in Grodno – by 30 dollars, in Mogilev – by 20 dollars.
