Belarus will continue to support large families.

This was stated by the country's President Alexander Lukashenko while hearing a report on improving social support.

What Lukashenko said about supporting large families

The head of the Ministry of Labor Natalia Pavlyuchenko, the head of the FPB Yuri Senko, Deputy Prime Minister Igor Petrishenko, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Alexander Egorov and the head of the Ministry of Finance Yuri Seliverstov were invited to report to the president.

One of the issues was support for large families. The head of state assured that Belarus will continue to support large families.

He recalled that large families are provided with support, including in resolving housing issues.

According to Lukashenko, it is important that such support be targeted and provided to those who really need it.

We will definitely resolve the housing issue, and this is the most important issue, the president said.

He noted that the issue of family capital is also being resolved, and very serious decisions have been made.

The head of state stressed that it is necessary to act very carefully.

There should be no “helicopter” money, Lukashenko added.

He noted that sometimes social support does not reach children because of negligent parents.

Therefore, here too we need to establish some control over certain families, ” the head of state summed up.
