Important news for students in Belarusian schools: there is very little time left before the start of autumn holidays.
The holiday period starts on October 27.
Belarusian schoolchildren will have a holiday until November 3 inclusive.
This is evidenced by the dates of school holidays for the current academic year approved by the Ministry of Education, BELTA reports.
As noted above, the autumn holiday period for Belarusian schoolchildren will last from October 27 to November 3.
Thus, the duration of the autumn holidays will be 8 days.
The holiday period, which includes New Year and Christmas, will, as expected, be longer than the autumn period.
Winter holidays will start on December 25, 2024 and end on January 7, 2025.
Some students will have an additional winter break: from February 17 to 23. We are talking about first-graders, second-graders and some third-graders.
In the spring of 2025, students in Belarusian schools will have holidays of the same duration as the holiday period in the fall of 2024 - 8 days.
The school holiday period will begin on March 23. The final day of the spring break of the current school year will be March 30.
They will fully correspond to the calendar summer - from June 1 to August 31, 2025.
However, schoolchildren who complete their studies at the second stage of general secondary education in the next calendar year will not have all 92 summer days off, but 10 days less: from June 11 to August 31.
