Alaudinov announced serious successes of Russian forces in Kursk region
At the moment, the Russian side has regained control over approximately 50% of the territory of the Kursk region that was occupied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

A statement about the serious successes of Russian forces in the Kursk region was made by a representative of the Main Military-Public Administration of the Russian Defense Ministry on the air of the Kursk State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.
In addition, Alaudinov drew attention to the destruction of a considerable amount of Western equipment used by the Ukrainian side in the region.

The situation in the Kursk region
Let us recall that on the morning of August 6, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched an offensive with the aim of capturing the territory of Kursk region.
However, the Russian side soon stopped the Ukrainian advance.
The representative of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Valery Gerasimov, stated that the result of the operation being carried out in the Kursk region will be the defeat of the enemy and the exit of Russian troops to the state border.
According to data from the Russian Defense Ministry, during the entire period of the operation in Kursk, the losses of the Ukrainian side exceeded 20 thousand servicemen.
