How Italy shortened the list of documents for Schengen visas for Belarusians
According to the press service of the Italian Embassy in Belarus, visa documents are accepted only in paper form (not in digital format and not by e-mail).
Proof of financial means is no longer required for minor children traveling with a sponsoring parent.
All you need is a sponsorship letter signed by a parent who will cover the costs of the trip.
There is also no need for proof of financial means for the spouse (only a sponsorship letter). This requirement does not apply to couples in an informal union.
A sponsorship letter can be written by hand directly when submitting documents. However, proof of financial means is required if the sponsor is not traveling with a spouse or minor children.
Secondly, you no longer need to provide a driver's license/car documents (if traveling by car) or tickets (if traveling by bus) confirming travel from Minsk to the nearest airport.
Thirdly, confirmation of residence in transit countries is no longer required.
Fourthly, individual entrepreneurs no longer need to provide an electronic key (the first page is sufficient).
In addition, documents confirming ownership of real estate (land plots) in Belarus have been excluded from the list.
