It is also customary to do good deeds and give alms on Pokrovskaya Parental Saturday.
On this day, you cannot refuse help, be greedy, overeat, abuse alcohol, drink it in the cemetery, leave food and alcohol on graves, swear, wish someone bad, think badly of others. Heavy physical labor is also prohibited.
