As of October 1, more than 141,000 deposit accounts have been opened for large families in Belarus under the Family Capital program.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection's Telegram channel reported this on October 10.
Family capital is assigned upon the birth/adoption of a third or subsequent child.
From January 1 of this year, it increased to 31,480 rubles. This amount of capital is assigned upon the birth/adoption of a third or subsequent child from January 1 to December 31 of this year.
According to the Ministry of Labor, as of October 1, 141,173 deposit accounts were opened under the Family Capital program: 82.6 thousand accounts for $826 million and 58.5 thousand accounts for 1.5 billion rubles.
As of October 1, 89,602 applications for early disposal of family capital had been submitted.
Of these, 72,328 were for improving housing conditions, 9,867 for medical services, 7,402 for education, and 5 for purchasing goods for the disabled.
As of October 1, 86,860 decisions were made on early disposal of family capital. Of these, 18,394 were in the Brest region, 15,011 in the Minsk region, 13,872 in the Gomel region, 12,164 in Minsk, 10,298 in the Grodno region, 8,764 in the Mogilev region, and 8,357 in the Vitebsk region.
