GPK: Almost 1,300 trucks are waiting in line to enter Lithuanian checkpoints

According to the State Border Committee, almost 1,300 trucks have accumulated at the entrance to Lithuania.

Representatives of the department note that in one day, border guards at the Lithuanian checkpoint “Medininkai” allowed through only 9% of the norm.

Lithuania continues to slow down the passage of trucks from Belarus, the State Border Service of Belarus Telegram channel reports.

Around 1,300 heavy-duty trucks are idling in front of Lithuanian checkpoints.

The least number of vehicles in this direction were accepted into the territory of Lithuanian state services at the Medininkai checkpoint (adjacent to Kamenny Log on the Belarusian side).

Only 9% of the standard number of trucks, or 44 trucks out of a possible 500, were registered here.

Almost 230 passenger cars are still waiting their turn to enter.

Currently, the busiest entry point into the EU is Šalčininkai - Benyakoni.

But here the control services processed 37% of heavy-duty trucks.

As of 10:00, over 450 vehicles are waiting to enter Poland at the Kukuryki - Kozlovichi checkpoint.

Here, the adjacent side accepted 66% of the normal number of vehicles over the past 24 hours.

48% of passenger transport passed through the Polish Terespol.

310 trucks are waiting in line to enter Latvia. 56% of the vehicles passed through the Paternieki-Grigorovshchina border crossing.
