The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of Belarus, following the review of the appeal, identified a violation of pricing legislation in the provision of veterinary services.

The department's press service reported this on Telegram.

What violation did MART identify?

As the department explained, tariffs for veterinary services are not regulated; their cost is determined by agreement of the parties.

However, when providing veterinary care to animals in the veterinary clinic, drugs and medical devices were used, which are covered by Decree No. 366 on the prices of drugs, medical devices and medical equipment.

In violation of this decree, prices for certain medical products were set in excess of the maximum markup limits.
