A couple of drug couriers were detained in the Grodno region. The suspects turned out to be acquaintances, a man and a woman. Both had not worked at their new place for even two weeks.
The arrest took place with the forceful support of riot police.
The Grodno Region Drug Control Service, with the forceful support of the OMON, detained a couple of drug dealers, the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs Telegram channel reports.
The first person to come to the attention of law enforcement officers was a 33-year-old resident of the Belarusian capital.
After the man was detained, about 50 grams of the particularly dangerous psychotropic substance Alpha-PVP were found on him and in caches located in Minsk.
After this, law enforcement officers tracked down the detainee’s 31-year-old acquaintance.
She arrived at the regional center on the instructions of her curator.
During the arrest and inspection of the rented apartment, operatives discovered 250 grams of a similar psychotropic drug, as well as other prohibited substances.
Criminal cases have been opened against those detained.
The man and woman explained to law enforcement that they had worked for the drug market for about two weeks.
