Omelyanuk: the draft law on criminal liability envisages strengthening preventive work
The draft law on amendments to the codes on criminal liability issues provides for strengthening preventive work.
This information was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the House of Representatives on Legislation, Alexander Omelyanuk, on October 7 at a dialogue platform in Vitebsk.

What Omelyanuk said about the draft law on criminal liability
Judges, prosecutors, and investigators from the region took part in the dialogue platform for discussing the draft law in Vitebsk.
The event was organized as part of the implementation of the head of state’s order to discuss the most pressing provisions of the document at the local level.
In September, the lower house of parliament adopted the bill in the first reading.
This means that we have approved the concept, but before the second reading we must finalize this bill, ” Omelyanuk said.
According to him, the document provides for strengthening preventive work.
The circle of people for whom preventive measures are carried out will be expanded. They will be carried out with respect to those released under amnesty and on parole.
