From November 1, 2025, fixed-route taxis providing urban passenger transportation must have payment terminals.
This is stated in the Resolution of the Council of Ministers and the National Bank dated September 26, 2024 No. 704/22, BELTA reports with reference to the Ministry of Taxes and Duties.
The document also includes other changes.
For example, from October 1, 2024, individual entrepreneurs will no longer be able to manufacture, develop or supply cash registers to the territory of Belarus.
The ban also applies to those devices that are combined with taximeters and ticket printing machines.
From July 1, 2025, for business entities selling goods subject to labeling, the labeling of which has been introduced only in the territory of Belarus, the requirements for maintaining differentiated records of data on goods will be simplified.
According to the resolution, until July 1, 2026, it is permitted to use vending machines to sell goods, perform work and provide services without installing cash register equipment.
Resolution No. 704/22 entered into force on September 29, 2024, but some provisions will come into force on October 1, 2024, July 1, and November 1, 2025.
