Forecasters have declared a red alert for two regions of Belarus on Friday, September 13.
It will be in effect on the last working day of the current September week in the Mogilev and Gomel regions.
According to Belhydromet, on September 13, the fire danger will remain extreme in most of the named regions (5th fire hazard class).
Overall, the country is expected to see partly cloudy weather tomorrow.
But be vigilant and don't forget your umbrellas: meteorologists say that in many areas of the republic Friday will be marked by rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms.
In addition, autumn fogs will cover some Belarusian locations at night and in the morning.
As for the wind, tomorrow it will blow from the southeast and east, and during thunderstorms it may rage – gusts up to 20 meters per second.
On the night from Thursday to Friday, thermometers across the country will show from +12 to +18 degrees, during the day – from +20 to +29 degrees.
Forecasters have warned Minsk residents that tomorrow the city may be hit by rain, thunderstorms and strong winds (up to 14 m/s).
The air temperature in the capital on September 13 is expected to be between +24 and +26 degrees.
Rain and thunderstorms may also visit Brest, where temperatures of 22-24 degrees Celsius are expected on Friday.
But in the city of Vitebsk, precipitation is not expected. It will be cloudy with clearings and hot - from +26 to +28 degrees.
Almost identical weather conditions will form in Gomel and Mogilev, with the exception of temperature – from +27 to +29 degrees.
Rain, thunderstorms and +21 to +23 degrees – this is the weather expected for Grodno.
