On Thursday, September 12, extreme fire danger (fifth class) is forecast in most of the Brest, Mogilev and Gomel regions.
In connection with this, forecasters have declared a red alert.

Thursday's weather will be dominated by an unstable air mass and a stationary frontal section.
Rain is forecast at night in some areas and during the day throughout the country.
Thunderstorms and heavy rains are possible in some places during the day, and light fog will thicken at night and in the morning.
The wind will be easterly and southeasterly, from light to moderate, gusty during thunderstorms.
Nighttime temperatures will be +11-17 degrees, daytime temperatures will be +18-24 degrees, and in the eastern half of the country the air will warm up to +25-28 degrees.
