In three regions of Belarus – Gomel, Mogilev and Brest – forecasters have declared a red alert.
It will be in effect in the specified regions of the country on Wednesday and Thursday, September 11 and 12.
According to Belhydromet, these days, extreme fire danger (5th fire hazard class) is expected in most of the Gomel, Mogilev and Brest regions.
They also said that tomorrow, Wednesday, will be cloudy with clear spells in the country.
At night in some places in the western regions, and in the morning and afternoon in some locations across the country, short-term rains are possible.
In addition, fog is predicted to arrive during the night and morning hours.
As for the wind, tomorrow it will blow from the south, its speed will be from 3 to 8 meters per second.
The air temperature tonight will be from +9 to +15 degrees, during the day – from +21 to +28 degrees.
In Minsk on September 11, against the backdrop of cloudy weather with clear spells, short-term rain is possible in some places around the city.
The air temperature in the capital on Wednesday afternoon will be between +22 and +24 degrees.
In Brest and Grodno it will also be cloudy with clearings, but without precipitation. The air in these cities will warm up to 22-24 degrees Celsius.
Approximately the same weather conditions will form in the city of Vitebsk, where, however, it will be slightly warmer – from +23 to +25 degrees.
And in Gomel the situation is practically identical, but even warmer – from +25 to +27 degrees.
Weather in Mogilev: variable cloudiness, no precipitation and 24-26 degrees above zero.
