How Belarus Prepares Homes for the Heating Season: Here's What the Ministry of Housing and Utilities Said
The Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Belarus shared important information.
The department explained how our country prepares homes for the heating season.
This was reported by the Belarusian Telegraph Agency " BELTA ".
The Ministry of Housing and Utilities emphasized that preparations for the next heating season will begin immediately after the end of the last season.
First, actions are performed to ensure the operational state of engineering systems.
The activities are also aimed at the rational use of fuel and energy resources.
The following steps are involved:
- hydraulic testing of pipelines;
- pipeline flushing;
- testing of heating station equipment;
- restoration of damaged thermal insulation on pipelines.
Other activities are also being carried out.
Before the start of the autumn-winter period, internal engineering systems are repaired, various devices are checked, and glazing in buildings is restored (we are talking about common areas).
Just before the start of the heating season, the facades and roofs of residential buildings are repaired, and smoke and ventilation ducts are repaired (if necessary).
