As for the students of the closed universities, he said they were transferred to other higher education institutions.

The department representative noted that admission to those universities where students were transferred was only carried out in fee-paying departments.

According to the results of last year, they generally carried out the admission. This year, the admission figures have not been approved and all students who studied at these universities have been transferred to other universities, the official emphasized.

No one was left on the street

He added: none of the students were left on the street. They were all offered options to transfer "in whole groups to another university."

There are also cases when students were transferred individually, Pishchev said.

The teachers of the closed universities were also transferred to new places of work - requests for them were received from other universities, according to information from the closed educational institutions.

Therefore, those of them who are needed by our universities will continue to work, the Ministry of Education employee summed up.
