Autumn continues to surprise Belarusians. It is clear that September has barely begun, but nevertheless – the weather is quite warm, in some regions of the country – summer-like hot.
Moreover, it is so hot there that forecasters have once again declared a red alert for these areas.
We are talking about the Gomel and Mogilev regions, where meteorologists expect extreme fire danger on Monday and Tuesday (September 9 and 10).
Belhydromet reported this, stating that, in general, the first day of the new autumn work week will be marked by light cloudiness.
No precipitation is forecast for Monday. The wind will blow from the southeast during the day, moderate, but strong gusts are possible in the west of the republic.
On the night from Sunday to Monday, thermometers across the country will show from +5 to +14 degrees, during the day – from +24 to +29 degrees.
In Minsk, Mogilev and Gomel Monday promises to be partly cloudy and without precipitation. The air in these cities will warm up to 25-27 degrees.
In Brest, almost the same weather is forecast. But there is a nuance: the wind can rage – up to 14 meters per second. Temperature – from +26 to +28 degrees.
The city of Vitebsk will be spared precipitation, there will be a few clouds in the sky. Thermometers will show from +24 to +26 degrees.
Residents of Grodno are being watched by strong winds – tomorrow they could hit at speeds of up to 14 m/s.
Otherwise the weather is acceptable: few clouds, no precipitation and 25-27 degrees above zero.
