Visiting forest areas in the coming days poses a danger to life.

The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Belarus issued this warning to the population, calling on them to refrain from visiting forests for the time being.

The Ministry of Forestry draws the attention of the population to the dangers that arise when visiting forest resources, BELTA reports.

Currently, the forest fund of the republic remains at a high level of fire hazard.

Every day, the department's employees extinguish up to ten fires.

The fight against the fire in the forest continues almost without stopping.

In particular, over the past 24 hours, state forest protection forces have extinguished 8 fires.

Visiting forests currently poses a danger to life, the department said in an official statement.

At the same time, citizens are reminded of the restrictions and prohibitions established in the forests, as well as the responsibility for violating them.

Thus, for violation of the ban, a fine of up to 30 basic units is provided for in the order of administrative liability.
