It has become known what Belarusians think about the introduction of mandatory school uniforms

In Belarus, research was conducted in which respondents were given the opportunity to express their attitude towards the introduction of mandatory school uniforms.

As you know, for some time educational institutions recommended that parents adhere to business attire.

However, the majority of respondents spoke in support of the introduction of mandatory school attributes, BELTA reports with reference to data from the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

The sociological research itself was conducted by the Institute in July-August 2024.

According to the published data, 67.2% of respondents consider the introduction of mandatory school uniforms to be a good idea.

It is specified that in response to this question, 67.2% of respondents answered “yes” and “mostly yes”.

30.9% of Belarusians answered “no” and “rather no”.

At the same time, it became known that the survey also assessed the attitude towards the target training of students.

There was almost unanimous support for the idea of increasing the number of places for targeted specialists.

“Yes” and “most likely yes” were answered by 84.8% of respondents.

Only 10.3% of respondents spoke out against it – “no” and “rather not”.
