A three-day red alert level has been declared in the Gomel and Mogilev regions of Belarus.

It will be in effect in these regions from September 7 to September 9 inclusive. The reason is the weather, namely the heat.

Due to the latter, in the specified regions (in most of their territories), according to information from Belhydromet, an extreme fire hazard (5th class of fire hazard) is expected during the specified period.
