From today until the end of the coming weekend, that is, from September 6 to 8 inclusive, the State Traffic Inspectorate of Belarus will conduct preventive training everywhere.
This is due to additional measures taken to prevent and avoid road accidents.
The relevant information was published on the official Telegram channel of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic.
Traffic police officers will conduct preventive maintenance on highways and streets in populated areas everywhere, the publication says.
The purpose of these measures is to prevent violations that lead to accidents with serious consequences.
And in the Brest region during the specified period, the special traffic police unit "Strela" will work - it will work in the most accident-prone areas.
Particular attention will be paid to those who drive while intoxicated or without a driver's license.
Considering the hot weather, the State Traffic Inspectorate will also monitor places where Belarusians spend mass recreation during these three days.
Law enforcement officials reminded drivers that it is very important to monitor their health while driving.
It is equally important to adhere to established speed limits, observe the rules of overtaking and driving through intersections.
In addition, you should be extremely careful when crossing pedestrian crossings.
And don't forget that everyone in the car needs to wear seat belts.
