More than 72% of Belarusian residents rate the country's education system positively.
This is evidenced by the data of a social survey conducted by the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences in July-August of this year.
The majority of respondents expressed a positive opinion – 72.9% (the sum of the responses “rather positive” and “positive”).
Every fifth respondent (21.1%) expressed a neutral opinion, 4.6% answered “rather negative” and “negative”.
78.8% of respondents named the child’s desire to learn as the main factor in a successful educational process.
53.2% noted that the professionalism of teachers is important. 45.4% noted the importance of parents' desire to provide an education to their child.
35.6% named the child’s innate abilities as a factor in success, 23.6% – a favorable environment and the opportunity to attend free clubs and elective classes, 16.2% – the level of education of parents, 14% – the level of material well-being of the family.
