Belarusians were told how to receive pensions and benefits early at Belpochta

Belarusians have expanded their opportunities to receive pensions and benefits early.
This is stated in a joint resolution of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
The document (number 20/66 from August 19 of this year) was published on the republic’s legal Internet portal.
Conditions for early receipt
The resolution supplements the list of conditions under which citizens have the right to receive early pensions, benefits or social payments at Belpochta branches.
Please note: early payment is possible if there are funds in the branch and based on the decision of the head of the postal facility.
To exercise this right, a Belarusian must provide a document that confirms that he is in a case where early payment is possible.
Previously, such cases included:
– temporary departure of a person abroad;
– being treated in a hospital;
– death of a family member;
- emergency situation.
Two new points
Now, according to the resolution, the list has been expanded by adding two new items.
Early retirement, benefits, and social payments can also be received if a person is in a health resort organization.
Belarusians can also use this right in the event of hospitalization for examination.
What to do if the full name data does not match
The resolution also clarifies the procedure for paying pensions, benefits, and other social payments in cases where the full name data in the electronic payroll does not match the data in the identity document.
A citizen in such a situation will be able to receive funds if he presents a document that confirms the change and/or alteration of his surname, first name or patronymic.
