Belarus continues to operate a visa-free regime for residents of a number of foreign countries.
It is not easy to act – it is actively used by Poles, Lithuanians, Latvians, and citizens of a number of other European countries.
Over the last week alone, 4,127 foreigners from 38 European countries entered the republic without a visa.
The press service of the State Border Committee of Belarus reported this on its official Telegram channel.
And since the start of this regime - from April 15, 2022 - 953,075 residents of European countries have visited the country.
According to the State Border Service, the largest number of people who came to Belarus were Lithuanians – 557,067 people.
In second place are Latvians (297,103), in third place are Poles (94,949).
Also, 3,956 citizens from 35 countries included in the “extended visa-free” list on July 19, 2024, visited Belarus, the report says.
