Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that a fifth Ukrainian drone had been shot down by air defense systems.
The target was hit in the Leninsky urban district in the Moscow region. Previously, there were reports of UAVs being shot down in Podolsk, Stupino and Odintsovo.
The Defense Ministry's air defense continues to repel an attack by enemy UAVs and shot down another drone in the Leninsky urban district that was flying to Moscow. All services are working on the scene, MIA " Russia Today " quotes the capital's mayor's message with reference to Telegram.
Sobyanin's first message was published at 01:20 (Moscow time). The official reported repelling a UAV attack in the Podolsk urban district.
At 02:36 a message appeared about another downed drone.
Two more UAVs were shot down in the Stupino urban district and in the Odintsovo urban district.
At the same time, the media reported on the results of the air defense systems’ work over the past night.
26 UAVs were shot down in the Bryansk region, at least 10 in the Voronezh region, 3 targets in the Tula region and 2 in the Kursk region, and another UAV was neutralized in the Tver region.
A UAV attack in the Ryazan and Lipetsk regions was prevented.
