On November 17, Vladimir Levkin, the former lead singer of the Russian pop group Na-Na, passed away. A farewell ceremony was held on November 19. The artist was buried at the Troekurovskoye Cemetery.
The band members and dozens of artists came to say goodbye to Vladimir. However, the absence of the band's producer Bari Alibasov did not go unnoticed.
Dozens of artists, including Vyacheslav Zherebkin, Mikhail Igonin and Vladimir Politov said goodbye to Vladimir Levkin, but Alibasov was not there, reports the Zen channel of the Teleprogramma publication.
Among others, Yana Poplavskaya, Marina Khlebnikova, Alexander Berdnikov and other colleagues of the artist were present.
The official reason for Bari Alibasov's absence from the funeral was illness.
But at the same time it became known that journalists from the Malakhov program visited the producer at home the day before and did not notice any signs of illness in him.
This is how an unofficial version emerged: the producer refused to go to the cemetery because of Levkin’s decision to leave the group in 1998.
As Alibasov himself explained in one interview, “we lived a full life, we were young, but we parted very badly.”
Speaking about Levkin, he also stated that the young artist expected to earn more on his own.
Andrey Malakhov recalled that in 2019, Bari Karimovich and the members of the Na-Na group met in his studio, and then the parties reconciled.
Yana Poplavskaya brought even more clarity. She said that she knew the history of Levkin's relationship with Alibasov and that after the broadcast they parted not as friends.
The actress also noted that in recent years, Alibasov has been a source of negativity, while Vladimir Levkin “never commented on this or said anything bad.”
