Actress Lidiya Ilyina, known for her role as Yeralash's grandmother in the TV series "The Word of a Boy," has died at the age of 78.

The artist, as reported by Argumenty i Fakty , passed away on November 1, 2024.

The cause of death has not been disclosed.

Lidiya Viktorovna was born on November 29, 1946 in the city of Yoshkar-Ola.

She studied at a music school, after which she entered the Palantai Music and Theatre School.

The actress devoted most of her life to working at the Youth Theatre and teaching acting.
