Russian actor Yuri Ponomarenko has died at the age of 49.
The artist was found dead in his Moscow apartment with a head injury.
TASS reports this, citing medical services.
According to preliminary information, the cause of the actor's death was a head injury sustained during a fall.
The man fell, hit his head and lost a lot of blood, the agency’s source said.
He clarified that there were no signs of crime and that the situation in the apartment was not disturbed.
Yuri Ponomarenko was born on March 7, 1975. He graduated from the Yekaterinburg Theatre Institute.
Since 1997 he has served in the Roman Viktyuk Theatre. The actor's filmography includes 62 works.
He starred in the TV series "Glukhar", "Karpov", "Sklifosovsky" and others.
