Russian media has learned about an alleged “black list of artists” who are prohibited from being invited to concerts.

It is curious that Valery Leontiev was among the rock stars and foreign performers.

The Kremlin knows nothing about the existence of the so-called “black list” of artists, the portal Strasti reports.

The publication cites a statement from the press secretary of the Russian president.

Dmitry Peskov noted that the Kremlin knows nothing about such a document.

"We don't know anything about the lists. There are a lot of fake ones circulating," Peskov said in an interview with the RTVI Telegram channel.

It was also added that the civic position of the artists regarding the SVO being held on the territory of Ukraine could “cause hostility from the organizer of a particular event.”

As for the content of the unofficial document, the artists mentioned include singer Valery Leontiev, who currently lives in the USA, and along with him, Naik Borzov.

Also listed are the Russian rock bands "Spleen", "Zveri" and the foreign "Metallica".

Allegedly, these artists are prohibited from being invited to concerts in Russia.

It is worth noting that Valery Leontiev himself, after rumors of ending his career, is preparing to go on stage.

It is reported that he will take part in the anniversary evening of composer Igor Krutoy.
