Semyon Slepakov* filed a complaint with the Supreme Court after receiving a refusal to remove his foreign agent status.

The artist was granted the corresponding status back in April last year. Slepakov applied to the Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow, demanding that his name be removed from the register, but was refused.

Foreign agent Semyon Slepakov* has decided to appeal the refusal to remove him from the register of foreign agents to the Supreme Court of Russia, MIA " Russia Today " reports with reference to the court's press service.

A complaint was received from Semyon Sergeevich Slepakov*, the official statement said.

Slepakov*, who was recognized as a foreign agent in accordance with Russian legislation in April 2023, received support from foreign sources.

The artist formed a negative opinion about military and government service and made negative statements about Russian citizens.

Currently, foreign agent Slepakov lives in Israel.

The first time he filed a claim to remove his status in the Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow, but was refused.

The artist’s complaint was then considered in cassation proceedings, but also without result.

And in June, Slepakov* was fined for violating the law on foreign agents.

He failed to mark his online publications appropriately, for which he received a fine of 30 thousand rubles.
