A pair of the concern's cars set five world records in just one day.

The records were set on the ice of Ghost Lake in Canada using four-wheel drive Outlander and Outlander Sport models.

In just 24 hours, drivers showed:

  • the maximum distance that could be covered in reverse in 30 seconds was 300 meters;
  • the shortest braking distance on ice is 56.2 meters;
  • maximum number of figure eights performed on ice in 2 minutes – 3;
  • the fastest slalom on ice is 71 seconds;
  • The fastest time to drive a square on ice is 19 seconds.

Considering these achievements, we can confidently say that the car manufacturer has once again proven its right to be a leader in the global automobile market.

For reference

A record in technology is the ultimate result, an achievement in speed in a car, in aviation, on rails, etc.
