Pull-ups are one of the basic exercises that many athletes perform.
They have value for muscle mass.
However, they can be difficult to perform, especially if you do not have the necessary level of physical fitness. But there are some very outstanding sports achievements that can become an inspiration for anyone who has just started their fitness journey.
It's worth starting with an outstanding result that was set about two years ago. A man from Japan was able to do 651 pull-ups without stopping.
The athlete did not rest or make any stops. This was the first world record of this person.
Afterwards, the Japanese decided to do something even more remarkable: he did pull-ups for 24 hours. As a result, he performed 8940 repetitions of the exercise. Today, this achievement is noted in the Guinness Book of Records.
It is noteworthy that the world record holder worked in the security field. In order to get the job, he had to pass a sports test. It was at that moment that he realized that he liked pull-ups.
