Until recently, the title of masters who created the world's longest baguette belonged to Italian bakers.

In 2019, they managed to produce a bakery product almost 133 meters long.

The French probably took this achievement as a personal insult, since, according to research, about 320 baguettes are sold in this country every second.

Five years later, they broke the record set in Italy.

The baguette, the fruit of the creation of 12 bakers from Paris, was 140 meters long.

The process of baking it was turned by the French into a real show, which anyone could enjoy watching.

The preparation of the baguette took a long 14 hours.

After the baked goods were showcased on social media and experts from the Guinness Book of Records confirmed the new record, the baguette was cut and distributed to the public.
