The most famous cow in the world is a Holstein named Blossom.

She was very friendly and also very tall. Blosom was listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the only cow in the world to reach 190 centimeters in height.

Until 2015, the tallest cow living on earth was the charming Blosom.

The famous book doesn't say a word about how much milk the cow gave.

The owner fed her oats and milked her twice a day.

When a team of representatives visited Blos to register the record, the animal behaved completely calmly.

The cow lived with her owner, Patti Meads-Halson, in the village of Orangeville, Illinois.

The woman bought the cow when the animal was eight months old.

The animal's growth was twice the norm already at birth.

The cow did not stop growing even after the purchase. As a result, the owner was advised to send a request to the Guinness Book of Records.

As it turns out, the representatives of the Book treat tall animals with special respect, calling them the greatest rarity.

However, in 2015, the cow died due to a leg injury, which greatly upset both the owner and the representatives of the Book of Records.

Before Blos, the tallest cow in the world was considered to be a Holstein-Friesian breed that lived from 1906 to 1910. Its height was 188 centimeters.
