American Stuart Robbins from the USA managed to get into the Guinness Book of Records when he turned 73 years old.

To do this, he had to prove that he could be called a master of free throw shooting in basketball.

Robbins was able to throw 16 consecutive blindfolded free throws and became the first record holder in this category, because before him no one even thought about setting such a record.

Of course, Stewart had to sweat a lot to achieve this – about 15 thousand hours of training, during which the man was blindfolded, were spent.

After this, Stuart Robbins became confident in his abilities and finally decided to present his record to the Guinness Book of Records commission.

In the presence of two basketball referees, he successfully completed the task he had set for himself.

The jury members verified that Robbins' eyes were indeed blind and that the free throw line was 4.572 meters from the hoop.

To set the record, he had to hit the target more than 10 times in a row, but Stewart surpassed his plan and made 16 accurate throws.
