He couldn't think of anything else to do but perform with rattlesnakes, which earned him the nickname "The Snake Man of Texas" and landed him in a hospital bed.
Jackie Bibby, or Snake Man, became interested in performing death-defying stunts with rattlesnakes.
He holds 5 world records. He kissed reptiles, climbed into a sleeping bag with snakes, put them on his stomach, head, hands and even held them in his mouth.
He managed to stuff a rattlesnake into a bag in just 17.11 seconds.
He slept in a sleeping bag containing 150 snakes and stuck his head into a sleeping bag containing 24 of the reptiles.
I took a 45-minute bath first with 87 and then with 123 snakes.
However, the most outstanding achievement was holding 13 live rattlesnakes by their tails in his mouth.
