One of the tallest sand castles was built in Binz, Germany, on June 5, 2019.

It was 57 feet 11 inches high, or 17.65 meters in meters. The unusual record is due to Skulptura Projects GmbH.

A team of 20 people worked on the construction of the sand structure, including 12 sculptors and 8 technicians.

They worked eight hours a day for three and a half weeks.

It took 11,000 tons of sand mixed with water to build the tallest castle.

No other additives were used, nor, in fact, any supporting structures.

The sand castle's base measured approximately 85 feet and 3 inches, or 26 meters, in diameter, beating the previous record of 11.63 meters.

The record did not last long – until 2021, when a 21.15-metre-high sand castle was built in Denmark.

Earlier we talked about the most widespread language in the world.
