The Guinness Book of World Records includes culinary achievements. Quite often, people compete in eating chili peppers or fast food.
No less interesting are the records in cooking. For example, in Los Angeles they cooked a record-breaking pizza.
The largest pizza was baked by Eric Decker with the support of the Pizza Hut chain.
The record was set and registered in January of last year.
It took 6,000 kilograms of dough to make the world's largest pizza.
Its size exceeded one thousand square meters.
It also required 2 thousand liters of tomato sauce and almost 4 tons of cheese.
The chef used 630 thousand pieces of sausage from the meat ingredients.
The pizzas were prepared in parts, but in one kitchen - under the roof of the Los Angeles Convention Center.
This is where the pizza was assembled.
Another noteworthy point is that after the record was registered by representatives of the Guinness Book of Records, the pizza was cut, packaged and sent to social support centers.
